The hour before dinner is the best-lit hour of the day, and it is usually spent in a car. We plan it instead: a west-facing point — Capo Testa near Santa Teresa Gallura, or a quieter spot on your own coast — timed to the actual sunset for your date, with the first drink and dinner placed so the light is spent outside.
