The white-geometric villa
Alongside Vietti's rustic-collage style, other Costa Smeralda architects of the 1960s — Michele Busiri Vici among them — built in a purer geometric register: white cubic volumes, flat planes, sharp modernist lines set directly against granite and sea rather than dressed up as a hamlet. It reads as considerably more contemporary than the mediterranean-collage style, even where the buildings themselves are decades old.
If this is closer to what you have in mind than terracotta and arches, we filter for it specifically.
